Histopathological analysis revealed that many inclusion bodies were
strongly stained by H&E, exhibiting peripheral staining near the mem-brane.Fig. 2 shows that lymphocystis cells squeezed each other, show-ing irregular shape and enlarged nucleus. The sizeof these lymphocystis
cells was approximately 100 times greater than that of normal cells, and
lots of large basophilic inclusion bodies with irregular reticular forma-tion were found in the cytoplasm.
