I suggest you slow down a bit and consider this: Don't assume it will be a breeze to get hired and get into a police academy in the first place. At age 15 you are likely on the verge of having to make important decisions that could greatly affect your ability to be considered for law enforcement. Decisions as to whether you will experiment with alcohol, drugs, etc; whether you will decide to put enough effort into doing well enough in high school to go on to college; whether or not you will drive safely and responsibly after getting your license; and obviously staying out of trouble with the law. You will be required to pass a rather extensive background investigation before entering law enforcement. An investigator may interview people such as your friends, neighbors, teachers, coaches, employers, co-workers, and on and on. They will look closely at your academic achievement in school, as well as your work record for past employment. My strong suggestion is this: Don't worry right now about a police academy. Focus your attention on developing good work and study habits, good character, and start a regular physical training program of some kind, which incorporates aerobic exercise, such as running, cycling, or swimming and some kind of weight training. Also give some serious thought to serving in the armed forces. A large percentage of new officers start their careers after serving their country. It is looked upon very favorably by law enforcement employers and most give you credit during the hiring process for being a veteran. Good luck and most importantly stay on the "straight and narrow".
