Situated in the North-East region of Vietnam. Halong Bay is a bay in the Gulf of Tonkin comprised of Halong City, the township of Cam Pha, and a part of the island district of Van Don. The area is recognized as a World Natural Heritage site that has an area of 434 sq. km with 775 islands.it looks like a giant triangle with Dau Go Island (in the west), Ba Ham Lake (in the south) and Cong Tay Island (in the east) as its three angle points.
