This objective of research for study effect of add manganese (MnO2) in to the composition that developed are composition (60-x)B2O3: 20ZnO: 20BaO: xMnO2 mol%. The results found that the density of glasses doped with MnO2 not found relationship between density and intensity quantity of MnO2 ranged from 2.8625 ± 0.0021 to 2.9165 ± 0.0019 g/cm3. Analysis of the optical absorption in the wavelength range 200-1100 nm of glass MnO2 no peaks of absorbance. But the absorbance wavelength started in 400 nm which corresponding with color coordinate in CIE L*a*b* measurement system. From the analysis of luminescence of glass in the wavelength 450 - 600 nm of glass samples with MnO2. When the excited by light with wavelengths 255 nm to meet peak discharge energy at the wavelength 566 nm , which caused the desorption energy level 4T1 to 6A1 energy found at concentration of 0.3 percent by mole are the high intensity.
