An analytical method for simultaneous determination of difenoconazole
and propiconazole in wheat straw, wheat grain and soil
was developed in this study. This analytical method with LOQ of
0.01 mg/kg and LOD of 0.1 ng is capable of determining the difenoconazole
and propiconazole residues in various wheat matrices
and soil.
The degradation trends of both difenoconazole and propiconazole
in different matrices are in the same pattern but at different
degradation rates. The data of half-lives in straw and soil demonstrate
that the degradation rate order is: straw < soils. The residues
of difenoconazole and propiconazole are much higher in straw
than in those in grain. The residues of difenoconazole and propiconazole
in wheat grain samples are not detectable (i.e.,
