Eastern Sarus Crane arranged to the status of extinct from the wild and is a wildlife reserved species in the Wildlife Preservation and Protection Act 1992, Thailand. Therefore, this study aimed to assess the potential and possibility of Eastern Sarus Crane’s reintroduction. It also including of reviewed and compiled the data of ecology, biology and habitats of Eastern Sarus Crane. The rapid assessment method was used to selected the suitability areas and developed a technique for reintroduction from model of the Whooping Crane’s reintroduction project of International Crane Foundation (ICF) under the conditions of all released cranes were reared into 2 methods of the parent rearing and the isolation rearing or costume rearing.
