2.4.4 Listening
Listening skill and pronunciation skill are interdependent as stressed by Gilbert (1984). If communications are not able to effectively listen to the English language and cannot easily understand, they tend to be unable to communicate with foreigners either. Noticeably, pronunciation and listening are connected by a combined system in which individual sounds are systematically associated. It is highly likely that staff’s listening and speaking skills become more developed if their pronunciation skill is improved.
