In the constitution of one particular country, it guarantees equality between men and women. At the moment, women are not allowed to join the military academies, which are open only to males aged over 18. The government says it would not be appropriate to open the academies to both men and women and if they did so it would lead to many problems. Now, a group of women has applied to the army academy but they have been rejected. The women say they will take the army to court to force them to accept women applicants. Does the government have a right to stop women joining the army academy?
