The participants in both groups were then tested
by a“diabetes knowledge questionnaire”(made up by our diabetes
team, which consisted of 20 questions, with 5 points for each
question for a total of 100 points) and a“diabetes foot care scale”
(also made up by our diabetes team, which consisted of 20 items,
with 5 points for each item for a total of 100 points) in thefirst day
of hospitalization. The validity and reliability of“diabetes foot care
scale”is tested, with cerebral visual impairment of 0.81, Cronbach’s
alpha values of 0.83, and overall test-retest reliability coefficients
high for each of the individual items (r¼0.77 to 0.92).
