higher returns from CST ghers. The regression indicates that, all other
things being constant, farmers could increase returns by US$1.95
for every additional US$1.00 spent on commercial feed per hectare
of gher area (Table 9). There was a significant negative correlation
between white spot disease (WSD) and financial return; i.e., if a WSD
outbreak occurred, financial losses resulted. Other factors included in
the analysis did not show significant effects on profitability.
