Collected insects

A total of 504 bark beetles of 12 different species were collected in the traps and
shoots. Of them, 486 came from the traps located in Vejorís (157 were collected in the
pruned plot and 329 from the unpruned one). Regarding the shoots sampling, 19 specimens
of T. piniperdawere found within the shoots feeding galleries in the 25 plots (6.6% of
occupation) only one of them was found in a shoot from the unpruned plot in Vejorís.
