Fossilfuelshavebeenregardedasthedominantnatural
resourceinoursocietyforacentury,includingelectricitygen-
eration andtransportation.Becausefossilfuelsaregradually
exhausted,exploringalternativeenergyresourcesisoneofthe
hottestissuesinthetransportationandelectricitygeneration
industries. Theheavydependencyofvehiclesontheoilandgas
economyisnotonlyunstableandbutalsoriskyforinternational
