As with other retailers at the shopping complex, Ms Smart said they did not have much contact with Ms Wanput as the restaurant opened at 5pm as they closed.
Inspector Keith McDonald said the parked car rolled down the driveway to the back of the shopping complex at the corner of Tongue St and Brisbane Rd, about 4.45pm.
The vehicle owner was inside the nearby hairdresser's shop at the time.
Insp McDonald said police were investigating what caused the car to roll.
The woman was pinned against a three brick high retaining wall and fence in the centre's carpark as police arrived at the scene.
