1. Primary tasks include: typing, formatting, filing, distributing, reporting, follow-up, writing and revising documents, designing reports, evaluating new ways of maintaining and distributing information manually and electronically.
2. Maintains the document control system in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements.
3. Assists in planning, preparing and deliver ISO related documents.
4. Retains a unique numbering system that relates to the ISO 9001 quality system.
5. Types documents, obtains approvals from designated authorities, distributes and files all documents pertaining to the quality system.
6. Updates ISO stations with appropriate forms such as Document Request/Change Forms.
7. Updates documentation binders with new and revised documents and table of contents.
8. Updates electronic files.
9. Enters appropriate information in the document control database.
10. Maintains the quality records, training and non-conformance/corrective action databases to satisfy ISO 9000 requirements.
11. Participates in internal system, process, and 5S audits as assigned.
12. Trains to be an Internal Quality and 5S Auditor.
13. Oversees all aspects of the documentation process for ISO controlled documents.
14. Creates and maintain work instructions, procedures, quality records, etc. per ISO standards.
15. Coordinates all engineering change processes for the site.
16. Ensures all material specifications, drawings, artwork, etc. are controlled and updated per ISO standards.
17. Administers corrective action process, including assisting in verification of correcting actions.
18. Assists in the administration of the internal audit process for ISO.
19. Applies continuous improvement methodologies to improve internal processes.
20. Ensures all aspects of the quality policy and objectives are understood and enacted throughout the facility.
21. Participates in regularly scheduled staff meetings.
22. Participates in training programs as required.
