Disaster in Thailand
- In 2011, Thailand was faced with the biggest flood that is the worst flooding in more than fifty. The vast volume of water to more than half of the country have been flooded.
- Thailand’s flood crisis began in Northern Thailand. The first areas to be affected by the floods in August and September. Then the central region and towns which are located near a river were affected in mid-October. All of these areas were submerged under 2 metres of water, forcing people had to move their homes, or live on the second floor.
- finally, the flood came to the capital city, Bangkok that is the heart of Thailand.
