Dry matter partitioning in different parts
The dry matter (g plant−1) partitioning in different parts (root,
leaf and stem) of stevia plants at harvest was influenced by cultural
practices and foliar application of plant nutrients (Fig. 2). Decapitation
of stevia plants resulted in significantly higher dry matter
partition in the leaf and stem compared with no decapitation.
Decapitation practice produced 11.04 and 19.30% higher dry matter
in the leaf over no decapitation in 2010 and 2011, respectively.
Nevertheless, there was no significant effect of cultural practices
