Regular PA reduces the risk of cardiometabolic risk factors
including high blood pressure, and diabetes [9]. Approximately
3.2 million people die each year due to physical inactivity but
people who are insufficiently physically active have a 20–30%
increased risk of all-cause mortality [9]. Moderate and vigorous
physical activities are associated with positive changes in body
composition and reduced risk of being classified with cardiometabolic
risk factors, independently of age [10,11].
