jumpThe squat jump (SJ) and countermovement jump (CMJ)from resting are measures of explosive strength. The SJ is an explosive, active manifestation of strength from staticposition (90◦leg flexion). The CMJ is also a reactive manifes-tation of explosive strength. In accordance with the Bosco’stest, these parameters were measured at the beginning ofthe study. Measurements were taken from resting conditionsin order to evaluate maximum explosive strength perfor-mance. As can be seen in Table 2, performance in bothgroups was similar for T1 and no statistically significant dif-ferences were found after the training between groups orpre- and post training. As expected, the results indicatedthat both groups showed a similar level of improvement. Nodifferences in training stimuli were found for post-trainingresults
