Material & Resources
•Sustainable construction: recycling 75% of all construction waste and extensive use of environmentally friendly material, system formworks and prefabrication to minimize waste generation in construction activities.
•Green building materials: adopt building materials with recycled content accounting for 20% of total materials value, as well as materials extracted and manufactured locally accounting for 20% of total materials value.
Indoor Environmental Quality
•Custom-designed light shelves: with profiled reflective ceiling, the shelves reflect daylight deep into the interior of office spaces and reduce glare and excessive lighting at perimeter zone, whilst reducing contrast with the interior.
•Mixed mode ventilation: during right external conditions, occupants on most office floors can open the top and low level operable vents to enjoy natural ventilation. When vents are opened, unnecessary air-conditioning to individual perimeter zone will be automatically switched off without wasting energy.
•Increased fresh air: provide 30% more than the international benchmark to enhance indoor air quality.
•Low emitting and VOC materials: adopted at all public areas to reduce the quantity of indoor air contaminants that are odorous, irritating or harmful to the comfort and well-being of occupants.
At the forefront of international environmental and sustainability standards, Hysan Place's design also provides an ideal infrastructure that supports its tenants in their goal to achieve LEED Commercial Interiors certification.
