I would like to communicate some changes in the sales organization for Thailand.
After many years of service and commitment to the company, Kukkong Hanpadungdhamma, Sales Director has decided to retire from the company at the end of 2015. I would like to express my thanks and appreciation for all the excellent and loyal work Kukkong has put into his roles within our company over the years. Kukkong has agreed that after a short break he will return to us for a period as a consultant to help with the transition to the new sales management for Thailand.
We have begun the recruitment process to bring in a new head of sales for Thailand and we hope to be able to fill this position shortly. For now, both Kitipong and Sirintip will report to the undersigned until further notice.
2015 has been a successful year so far for the Thailand domestic business, but we still have a high reliance on the ITI sector. We must continue to drive forward sales in this sector and find ways to penetrate key segments and expand geographically. Following some recent resignations, the current GBI team needs replacement of some key positions in sales and specification. This will take some time, so we have asked Prateep to move from the ITI sector to the GBI team to help during this transition period.
In order to allow greater attention to Vietnam and to support a return to growth from our very difficult trading period, we have decided to change the reporting lines of the Vietnam team also at this time. Davis Ong, Sales Director Exports, will take responsibility for this market with immediate effect.
Further to this, the company continues to look for new opportunities in our region in support of growth. We have therefore asked Tris Danker to support Davis in developing the markets of Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos in a part time capacity in addition to his role in the Singapore market.
I would again like to thank Kukkong for his service and to wish everyone else in his or her new roles great success.
