Villa Lavanya is hidden just 5 minutes away from Bophut Beach and Bophut Fishermans Village. Bophut Beach is known for two things: its long sweep of golden palm-fringed beach and the Fisherman’s Village, a charmingly preserved area of old wooden Chinese houses and shops that stretch to the water’s edge. Here you can find high quality boutiques and jewellers mixed in with the pubs, cafés and restaurants. There are also several dive shops offering lessons and diving trips to the nearby Angthong National Marine Park and Koh Tao Island.

There is also a local supermarket (Tesco Lotus) located at the bottom of the hill leading to the villa which is very handy should you need to collect any supplies, and on the way down you may have the pleasure of seeing elephants grazing on nearby land, which is a wonderful sight whilst on the supermarket run!. Tesco Lotus is one of the local supermarkets along with a Thai Traditional Market if you wanted to try any of the local produce or just pop along for the experience. There are also traditional textile shops in the same vicinity, where you can buy souvenirs to take home. Tesco Lotus is open 08:00am – 12:00am and the nearest cash point is located within the Fisherman’s Village in Bophut.
We are also only a 10 minute drive to Chewang Beach and Chewang Centre, Chewang is a lively area comprising of shops, bars and restaurants which is very appealing to travelers and the younger generation.

Upon arrival of your stay at Villa Lavanya you will be provided with a personal guide of the best places to visit along with key local information, in order to make your stay and time in Koh Samui a truly unique one.
