After 10-d storage, weight loss was lessthan 2% at 5 and 10 C but was 4% to 6% at15 and 20 C, respectively (data not shown).At harvest ‘Biew Kiew’ arils were firm (4.2N), with 18.2% TSS and 0.04% TA (Table 1).Aril quality was retained for fruit stored atall temperatures, except that higher TA wasmeasured in longans stored at 20 C.
