Hey guys, I mean all the working teachers in Thailand, I wanna announce one shameful incident happened in Thailand with one of my close friends. Her name is Ting Wu, she is Chinese but graduated from American University. Hence, she is able to teach Chinese and English. Well, last month she was appointed as Chinese teacher in a school. As usual she got all her papers to get a Non-B from China. Well, while she was applying for her Non-B from China, she found out that she is missing one document called WP3 form. So instantly she called back the authority in her school. As a result she received that document after 2 LONG WEEKS. So in that case when she reapplied for the visa, the school has started already. After all these when she arrived Thailand on 20th May with her Non-B, she found out that the school replaced her position with a new Thai-Chinese teacher without any declaration and also they never sent her a copy of the contract form. AFTER PAYING FOR HER OWN FLIGHT TICKET AND VISA, WHEN SHE ASKED THEM "WHY DID THEY DO THAT?", THE ANSWER WAS ONLY A LOW VOLUME "SORRY!". Now she is jobless and damn depressed with the system, But she wanna do something about this injustice.
So my request to you, all the respected teachers in Thailand, to give us some suggestions about what to do against this injustice. Should we file a case against this school? or complain in the Ministry of Labor?
And another thing, if it's possible please suggest her a Chinese or English teaching position, in case you know any. Now the new term already has been started, so it's really hard to find a job for her.
THANX A LOT FOR READING MY LONG POST. WELL, I'M TRYING TO STAND BESIDE HER AS A HUMAN, THAT'S ALL.
