Malaysian got a low score on Uncertainty Avoidance, while Thai got high score on this dimension. Malaysian people are more tolerant towards changes more than Thai people. They believe that the freedom will occur when the rules and regulations are not so strict. They do not feel as anxious as Thai people when faced with uncertainties. Thai people would always avoid taking any risks unless they consider that risk as a greater good of the group (Hofstede, n.d.).
