1. Toe-in of side boards
The side boards are adjusted prior to starting up the process so that they
have a toeing-in of 2 to 3 mm in the extruding direction. Position both
side boards in regard to the base mold must be equal. The adjusting is
done by turning the shaft which runs through the vibrator dumper (closes
counter clockwise). The side boards can also be adjusted while the process
is in progress. If the product sides crack, check and lock the side
board adjustments.
2. Verticality
The verticality must be adjusted, while the upper and lower parts of the
extruder are separated. When starting the process, the side boards must
be adjusted so that they are vertical to the base mold.
Sometimes, depending on the properties of the concrete used, the angle
between the side boards may need to be readjusted.
