characteristics in birds kept at thermoneutral temperature
were not affected with lycopene supplementation. Lycopene
supplementation linearly increased feed intake
(P ¼ 0:05), live weight gain (P ¼ 0:01), feed efficiency
(P ¼ 0:01) and cold carcass weight (P ¼ 0:01) and yield
(P ¼ 0:05) under stress conditions. An interaction between
environment and lycopene for performance parameters
(Pp0:05) was detected. The alterations in the levels of
MDA, homocysteine, vitamins C, E, and A
provided continuously (24 h) throughout the experiment.
