An important aspect of employing statistical procedures is to demonstrate how well or at what level of significance the modeling results agree with observed data. The coefficient of determination or R2 is a commonly used measure to inform the predictive efficacy of model outputs. The level of significance or the p-value is another indicator of model significance with respect to the statistical F-test. These p- values are not included in our data presentation. The following discussions rely mainly on the relative values of the R2 with some elaboration using p-values.
