Concerning biodiesel oil acidity and viscosity, critical factors for
biodiesel synthesis, were influenced by the variation in water
quality at the current experimental conditions, and seem to be
improved (decreased) when wastewater is used for irrigation.
Especially the significant reduction of oil acidity simplifies the
biodiesel process and provides improved reaction yields if alkaline
catalyst is used. Wastewater irrigation didn’t have any negative
impact on biodiesel quality at current experiment. In contrary the
use of wastewater for the irrigation of energy crops will decrease
the local water resources availability pressure in various areas
