The bottles enter into the slip over channel. The clamping device (see Figure 3)
and clamps the last bottles during the slipping over process.
A cylinder is located at the end of each slide transfer channel. It ensures that the
bottles/jars are arranged in a corresponding offset row. These cylinders are
controlled in such a manner that the order of the row offset is independent of the
number of rows running in. The cylinders can be adjusted using a stop on the
corresponding row offset which results from the diameter of the bottles/jars.
After the bottles/jars run into the layer former, the slide transfer procedure is
carried out with a horizontal and vertical motion. The horizontal speed is
controlled in such a manner that it corresponds to the speed of the collection belt
after the bottles/jars are standing on the collection belt.
A logical row offset is automatically formed depending on which row is running
in.
