You loom over the fallen, inert machine as it lays there sprawled across a particularly large, low-hanging fern. After you give it a few kicks to make sure, you are confident that the robot has been knocked out from the damage. You feel a swell of pride kick up in your chest at the victory, though that immediately starts to falter under the realization you still need to lug this thing back. Ugh.

You lean over the machine, brushing off the limp appendage-arms to either side. It looks an awful lot like a jellyfish, come to think of it. You recall Carl saying there was a factory-reset button somewhere in the undercarriage, so reach your hand into the mess and grope about. The outlet for its coolant, a few wires here and there. A button, a vent for what you can only assume is— Wait, a button. You press in on the small, out-of-the-way thing firmly.
Immediately the robot chirps and you yank your hand away, preparing to go back to fighting. However, instead of aggression the machine lazily hovers itself upright, spins in place once and then continues upwards. You can only watch as it rises up past the trees and floats to off to the side - towards town, you realize. Looks like it’s going to what it considers home after you reset it.
Best speak with Carl when you get back.
You defeated the machina!
Maximum XP attained! You need to level up to continue to progress.
Find a bed to sleep on in order to level up (like on your ship).
