As mentioned, the dip in our stock prices are largely due to a slow FY14Q1.
I have attached our FY14Q1 Qtrly Report, from which pages 23, titled "Item 2. Management's Discussion and Analysis of Financial Condition and Results of Operations" are perspective from our management; which may be of good information to address our customer's and partner's concerns in Thailand.
According to Imperva 10Q-QUARTERLY REPORT (Quarterly Period Ended March 31,
2014) "Our research and development efforts are focused primarily on improving and enhancing our existing data center security solutions and services, as well as developing new products and services and conducting advanced security research. We conduct our research and development activities in Israel, and we believe this provides us with access to some of the best engineering talent in the security industry. As of March 31, 2014, we had 243 employees dedicated to research and development, including our advanced security research group, the Application Defense Center ("ADC").
Our research and development expense was $10.0 million for the three months ended March 31, 2014 as compared to $6.4 million for the same period in 2013." (page 23 paragraph 6).
The above suggest that Imperva is investing continuously- heavily; to improve and better our products and solution offerings, which sets us above our competition.
In "Risks Related to Ownership of our Common Stock" (page 50), the chapter provided the salient points of how investors and analysts views Imperva and that how Imperva are aware of the risks and our plans to mitigate them and in page 51 of the report, "In addition, because we are incorporated in Delaware, we are governed by the provisions of the anti-takeover provisions of the Delaware General Corporation Law, which may discourage, delay or prevent a change in control by prohibiting us from engaging in a business combination with an interested stockholder for a period of three years after the person becomes an interested stockholder.." displays that we follow strict regulations and are governed by anti-takeover provisions.
Please let us know if the above clarifies or if you need further information in regards to the subject matter.
