5. Conclusion
In the present study, we found that all treatments increased
lactic acid content and decreased NH3-N content relative to
untreated silage. In addition, the application of MO, FJLB, or
both produced well-preserved silage with high lactic acid and
low butyric acid contents. In the feeding trial, ruzigrass silage
treated with FJLB demonstrated improved digestibility of CP
and increased cellulolytic bacteria population in cows.
