Reason: Discontinue Manufacture of the Atria 3100
Dear Valued Burdick and Quinton Customer,
Recently, Mortara Instrument, Inc., based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and a recognized technology leader
in the world of ECG, acquired Burdick and Quinton from Cardiac Science. Strongly committed to
ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction, all of us at Mortara Instrument are determined to
provide the very best in service and support across our entire portfolio of products.
As our valued customer, we wish to inform you of our plan to discontinue the manufacture of the
Atria 3100, as of August 1, 2013.
Mortara Service, will continue to provide field service on demand, depot repair, and technical support
for as long as expertise is available. We expect that over time, loaners and certain service parts will
become increasingly difficult to obtain due to availability and technology obsolescence. Mortara will
continue to provide replacement parts for as long as they remain available.
How does this affect you?
• Mortara will continue to honor existing service agreements.
• Accessories and supplies for the Atria 3100 will continue to be offered for the foreseeable
future and for as long as compatible materials remain available to Mortara.
• Mortara Service will continue to provide the technical services listed above and will
immediately discontinue Biomedical Service Training on the Atria 3100.
