Here’s what it looked like without the cross braces or laminate covered wood floor installed. I have some thick pieces of elastic and used that here to check the tracking of the rollers – I spun them up to 850 rpm with my drill. It tracked pretty good. The REAL key to tracking is going to be the DOG running straight. In testing this thing myself with the carpeting installed, it’s not difficult to run kind of sideways (holding onto something off to the side of the mill will cause this!) and make the carpet run off track.
