ABOUT
For over two decades, Randy has been on a continuing journey to help impact individuals and the world with his RED, Canon and Sony cameras. He pushes us all to realize that we are not only unique, one-of-a-kind creations, but that we each matter and have a story that counts.
He says, "So, what do I do here? Well, as I like to say way too often, ‘I shoot people.’ That is an example of my bad photographer humor, but I keep trying.
I am finding after all these years of tending to this relationship between me and this thing called a camera, I am more passionate than ever about capturing the uniqueness and miracle of life. I am in awe of how each person has a valid, inspiring story that has to be told, and that through these stories this world can be a better place. Photography, to me, is sacred.”
Randy is artistically influenced by photographers such as Richard Avedon, Annie Liebovitz, Irving Penn, Diane Arbus, Timothy Greenfield-Sanders and many others. Considering all of these influences, the connecting thread is that they are artists with a passion for capturing the art of people.
