Participation in Social Development
PTTEP believes that corporate organizations should not only commit
themselves to making a profit but also to participating in the responsible
development of society in all aspects. It therefore arranged several activities
in support of this principle during the first quarter of 2008.

Conservation of Thai Heritage Project
- Research Project on Conservation of Tigers in the Western Forests
of Thailand
In early February, PTTEP provided support for the research on tigers being
done by Dr. Saksit Simcharoen, Head of the Wildlife Research Station of
Khao Nangrum, and his research team in Amphoe Huay Khakaeng of Uthai
Thani Province. The research team was able to catch two more tigers, one
fully grown male and one fully grown female, in order to attach radio beacons
to them.
