Qualtrics to Administer WD’s Third Quarterly Performance Management Pulse Survey
WD Team,
It’s time for our third Performance Management pulse survey! The pulse survey is designed to provide leaders with feedback on quarterly check-in conversations. Check-in conversations ensure that everyone is on track in achieving his or her goals, provide an opportunity to discuss and resolve barriers to achieving those goals, and to keep informal communication going throughout the year. These conversations will go a long way toward achieving our objective of “more talking and less typing” in Performance Management.
The pulse survey consists of three “yes or no” questions:
1. Do you have clear goals?
2. Did you have a check-In meeting with your manager in the last quarter?
3. Was the conversation with your manager meaningful to you?
And the Survey Says …
On October 19, you will receive an email inviting you to participate in the pulse survey and providing you with the link and instructions to take the survey. Please watch for the email and check your spam folder if you don’t see it in your inbox. The survey will be open October 19 through October 31.
Additionally, after the survey opens, you can complete it from any non-WD computer with internet access by typing http://go.qualtrics.com/westerndigitalsurvey into your browser. Your WD email address will be your username; if you don’t have a WD email address your employee number will be your username.
The WD pulse survey responses will be aggregated by Qualtrics. All responses will be completely confidential — no one at WD will see or have access to individual responses.
We encourage you to respond to the survey as quickly as possible and to be honest in your responses. Your participation in these quarterly pulse surveys is very important and will help us to continuously improve our Performance Management process.
