PULSE@Parkes (PULsar Student exploration online at Parkes) is an innovative education Program operated by CSIRO Astronomy and Space Science in Australia. Research-quality Pulsar data are obtained by high school students observing remotely with the iconic 64m Parkes radio telescope. The students observe a range of pulsars in real time’ gather data then analyse it using online modules. Observing sessions are broadcast via social media Tools including Twitter with the data streamed live on the web. All the data are publicly available and can be used by anyone for education and outreach. The data are also used for Professional pulsar observing projects such as the search for gravitational waves. The PULSE@Parkes project is being used to test and develop age-appropriate hands-on radio Astronomy project for school students that will feed into future generations of radio Telescopes including the Australian Square Kilometre Array Pathfinder (ASKAP) and the Square Kilometre Array (SKA)
