Responsibilities:
• Receive and arrange export bookings from exporters and overseas agents.
• Keep exporters and importers fully updated at all times.
• Receive pre-alert and documents from overseas agents.
• Keep importers continually updated of the status of their shipments.
• Communicate with shipping lines, customers and overseas agents.
• To be the contact point for monitoring of export shipments.
• Handle all export documentation.
• Process costing and invoicing.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Customer service Manager.
Qualifications:
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Honest and reliable with good character references.
• Cheerful with a positive attitude, good time-keeping, attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
• Computer Literate, Proficient in Windows, Excel, Word, Power-point, Outlook, Internet use.
• Export and Import Freight Forwarding experience and an active interest in learning more about the business.
• A team player with service mind, good communication and interpersonal skills
• Negotiation and problem solving skills
