For example, the most companies want the employees who have higher skill and capabilities. So, this demand allows people to get higher education. In addition, globalized economy develops standard of living and reduce poverty of people in communities more and more.As the result of a multinational company establishes a factory in a developing country, the new equipment, the new management skills and job vacancies are all in the best interest of the local society.Also, everyone can immigrate to other country or go to another country for education and working freely because the progress of economic system.Secord, international contacts are one of the most positive effects. The advances of information and communication technology allow people to communicate and share information, knowledge, and news each othervia the Internet, email, cell phones and many websites easily.We can exchange goods, money and ideas faster and cheaper than ever before.These conveniences are very beneficial to customers and businesses. In addition, there is a greater access to foreign culture in the form of movies, music, food, clothing, and more through development of technology and transportation.
On the other hand, globalization has some negative effects which must be addressed accordingly.Firstly, globalization causes unemployment in industrialized countries because the most companies move their factories to places where they can get cheaper workers. Secondly, globalization may lead to more environmental problems. A company may want to build factories in other countries because environmental laws are not as strict as they are at home. Poor countries in the Third World may have to cut down more trees so that they can sell wood to richer countries.The last negative effects of globalization is the danger of epidemic diseases which can easily spread because of faster transportation and increasing in number of tourists. For example, the spread of HIV/AIDS. Having its origin in the wilderness of Africa, the virus has spread like wildfire throughout the globe in no time. Another example is bird flu disease which has infected most Asian countries over a short period of time. Furthermore, the safety regulations and the standards of food preparation are different in different countries, which may cause a large risk to potential health hazards.
In conclusion, I believe that globalization is overall good the world. Although there are some negative impacts; however, the positive impacts could overcome those negative impacts and make the world a better place.
