While a 'job' represents the duties or tasks of an employee in the center, a 'role' in Zenoti defines the access rights for the employee in Zenoti. For example, a 'receptionist' role will give the employee access to only the Appointment book module in Zenoti. Similarly, a 'owner' role will get access to all modules of Zenoti and so on. A 'job' of an employee has no impact on his access to Zenoti modules and features. It is the 'role' which defines what modules and features he can access in the software and what he can't. The other difference is that you can create 'jobs' in Zenoti as per your requirements, but you cannot create a 'role' in Zenoti. You need to assign an employee a role from the list of default roles provided in Zenoti.
