As it is implied from Table 1, thereare only two articles available that have compared the anticorro-sion effects of both PANI/MMT and PANI/OMMT [1,30]. These twopapers however, concern the PANI/clay primers directly coated onsteel substrate. Olad and Rashidzadeh [30] examined for example,the anticorrosion properties of PANI, PANI/MMT and PANI/OMMTcoatings and claimed that anticorrosion performance of iron sub-strates coated with PANI-based nanocomposites is better than thatof pristine polyaniline. Chang et al. [1] as well, observed superiorenhancement in anticorrosion property of PANI/MMT over that ofPANI/OMMT nanocomposite with the same clay loading.
