P. putida H-2-3 was isolated from soil and identified by phylogenetic analysis (Fig. 1). Result of BLAST revealed that bacterial strain H-2-3 had 100% sequence homology with P. putida H-2-3. The sequence was submitted to the NCBI GenBank and was given accession no. KF731678. The bacterial isolate, P. putida H-2-3 was tested on GA deficient mutant Waito-C rice to detect their plant growth promoting ability by the secretion of bioactive metabolites
including GA.
