K.Nick,
After discussed with team, I think the best way to adjust the BAY leave scheme is to "roll back and reapply the new leave scheme" instead of adjust the number directly. This will make less impact and for your information...both solution required downtime on production for a few days. However, the second option required more data validation and checking which is taking long time. As plan...if you agreed....we will run this process in Test Environment next week and capture the step and procedure. THen, once we decide to move to production...I would request 5 days operation....by doing this, menu "Absent" will be disable. To make it less impact, to employee...we will use this process on Fri - Wed with schedule below
Fri ==> roll back all leave day
Sat - Mon ==> configure new plan and rerun
Tue ==> Final data check...
Wed ==> reserved for minor fixing and buffer
If all thing is going well, then we will turn on this menu for all employee and resume as normal. If you are ok with this...then I will work out with team to confirm the production date to apply after rehearsal in test environment next week.
