In anthropological perspectives, the field of performance is an outstanding and conspicuous socio-cultural phenomenon. Victor Turner (1987, 1988) has argued that the human performativity is evident of ‘social life’ in which individuals use expression of bodily acting as a means of criticizing their social norms and regulations. Cultural performances; however, are responsive to social transformation. It is necessary for us to understand that these complex socio-cultural dynamics happen in various folk performances. Local people perform their folk dances and artistic movements in accordance with changing context. For example, sacred acts in religious rituals are transformed into presentations for cultural shows in tourist events and the construction of cultural identity.
