The variation of analytical signal as a function of ionic surfactants
such as CPC, CTAB and SDS concentration is shown in Fig. 3. The
dependence of CPE to ionic surfactants concentration were examined
in the range of (0.0–0.45) 103 mol L1 in the presence of
Sn(IV) for each surfactant. The best analytical signal was obtained
in presence of CPC. A concentration of 1.25 105 mol L1 of CPC
is chosen as optimum value for the determination of tin. The extraction
of Sn(IV) increases up to ionic surfactant concentration of
1.25 105 mol L1
, and then gradually decreases in higher concentrations.
Therefore, ionic surfactant concentration of
1.25 105 was selected as the optimum condition for the subsequent
studies.
