Peak 35: digalloylated (PC2G2) procyanidin dimer. This peak
had a molecular ion at m/z 881.0 and UV maximum at 277 nm. The
two product ions at m/z 729 and 577 indicted the loss of one and
two gallic acid fragments (152 and 304 Da) from the
procyanidin polymer, suggesting that this peak corresponded to
digalloylated procyanidin dimer. Santos-Buelga et al. (1995)
identified this peak as the double galloylated procyanidin [ECG-
(4b-8)-ECG] (B2-3,30-diG).
