When the renal perfusion is re-established, the renal function should recover. There are various conditions that can lead to hypoperfusion, all of which result in pre renal failure . A continued decline in perfusion, however, can result in intrinsic or intra renal failure. This occurs as a consequence of factors that result in injury to the kidney itself or nearby vasculature. These factors are glomerular, vascular, interstitial and tubular. The vascular disorders are classified according to the size of the vessels affected. These vessel sizes also determine the signs and symptoms along with providing a method of categorizing these diseases. Glomerular disorders can occur as a result of diverse, typically immune-mediated insults within the glomeruli
