The fruits were opened with the use of a vise, the pulp was manually separated from the seeds (Fig. 2) and the samples were ground in a knife mill, Marconi brand, model MA 340, to homogenize the particle size. The particles of the crushed pulp were 0.59 mm of average diameter, and the particles of the crushed seeds were 0.84 mm(AACC, 1999). The analysis followed this operation.
