Tourism Supply Chain Vast bulk of literature about supply chain management is focus on manufacturing industries and less attention has been paid to service sector. Generally tourism supply chain is defined as a network of activities in active organizations in the field of tourism. Such activities go beyond service support to distribution and marketing of final product in certain place and for certain purpose(s) which encompasses great range of public and private partnership (Zhang et al., 2009). In other words tourism supply chain includes all suppliers of all kinds of products and services that are accessible by tourists. Hence, active interaction among different tourism agencies and institutions indicate that tourism organizations are not independent anymore and related to a certain supply chain (Yang et al., 2008).
